I have been involved in genealogy for more than 40 years, alongside my main profession as a mechanical engineer.
It all started with researching my own family, some lines of which I have been able to trace back to the 15th century.
For many years I have been helping friends, acquaintances and many other researchers with questions about family research.
My focus region is North Rhine-Westphalia, especially the Rhineland. This corresponds to the former administrative districts of Aachen, Cologne and Düsseldorf in the Prussian Rhine Province . (Including the administrative district of Kleve, which was dissolved in 1822)
